In honor of Earth Day, our theme for April is "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle". A favorite past time of many miniaturists is to look at everyday items and figure out how to use them in miniatures. There are whole groups on Facebook and so many Pinterest boards it isn't funny. If you Google "miniatures from ..." the first item that comes up is "miniatures from everyday items". Clearly, this is a popular theme!
Be sure to check out what is happening on the NAME Create site where in addition to new workshop offerings, you will also find videos, informal ZOOM sessions so you can visit with friends and work on your unfinished projects, "Lunch and Learns" where you'll hear from various artisans about miniature topics, and puzzles and games, etc. Open to NAME members and non-members alike! Check out the site at create.miniatures.org There is so much going on here - - So, if you haven’t already visited the NAME Create site, this is the time to do it!!!
